Two weeks ago in Atlanta, we launched the first cohort of the HBCU Founders Accelerator Program. I couldn't be more honored and excited to have played a role in assembling this amazing group of founders. As this cohort is well on its way, I wanted to both announce these companies as well as reflect on some takeaways.

Alliance Healthcare Foundation announced they are doubling their i2 investment. Two community-grown and led San Diego organizations are awarded AHF's 2022 $1 Million Innovation Initiative (i2) Challenge Grant. Project New Village and Urban Restoration Counseling Center will be supported with continued mentorship and incubation, and up to $1 million each in milestone-based grants.
